Please join me in congratulating two of our inspiring Buckley men on their retirement!
Rich Buckley will be retiring from Proctor and Gamble after 31 years with the company. While at P&G he was widely known as a great leader – for examples, just look at his Facebook page. He’ll now spend much more time golfing and in his role as Commodore of the Scranton Canoe Club, which doesn’t have canoes but does have golf. His last day at work will be June 29, after which he will head straight to Buckley Family Weekend!
William J. Buckley, D.D.S., a.k.a. Ducktor Bill, has retired from his dental practice as of March 1. He practiced dentistry for 30 years, serving the small town of Pulaski, NY, and started his own practice almost 20 years ago. He sold his practice to a young dentist and will be helping the business through its transition for a few months. He is very glad he beat his brother Rich to the punch, but also hopes that in retirement he’ll teach him to play golf.
Congratulations to two brilliant and successful Buckley men!
