We had amazing weather except for some storms on Friday night. The Stars were victorious this year! Final score was Stars 122 Stripes 79. The Stars started off their grand slide victory by winning both of the family relay races and volleyball (see photo finish in relay race in attached photos). The Stripes put up a good fight but just couldn’t catch them. This years MVP winner was Sean McMahon for the Stars, with Daniel Mullin in 2nd for the Stars, Jack Schilo in 3rd for the Stripes, and Thomas Mullin in 4th for the Stripes. The sportsmanship award was given to Luke Nolan for the Stars! The kids had a ball! The duck race winner this year was Liam Nolan for the Stars. Egg toss winners were Connor McMahon and TR Nolan for the Stripes. In second place was Cecilia and Daniel Mullin for the Stars and tied for third was Dan Nolan and Keith McMahon(Stars) and Pete O’Brien and Glen Hodne(Stars). We had a great tribute to Uncle Jim during the photo contest by sharing many wonderful stories and at the end all toasted with a shot of Philadelphia.
We missed all of you who couldn’t be with us this weekend especially Uncle Bob, Aunt Arden, Uncle Wally and Aunt Maddy. It wasn’t the same without you. Thank you to all of the organizers, cooks, and cleaners that made this weekend possible. Our sincerest gratitude to all of the owners for continuing this most amazing family tradition that we all look forward to, making lasting memories and relationships year after year.
